African Journals Online (AJOL) provides free hosting for over 340 peer-reviewed journals from 26 African countries. These journals cover the full range of academic disciplines with strong sections on health, education, agriculture, science and technology, the environment, and arts and culture. The mission of AJOL is to provide access to African published research. AJOL allows for free access to thousands of article abstracts, and offers a progressively charged article delivery service for researchers and librarians to access full text of individual articles. AJOL hosts over 100 journal titles in health and related fields offering articles and information that is relevant and appropriate to the health needs of Africa and other developing countries.

A site designed to generate and share authoritative information about the role of male circumcision in HIV prevention. It contains: (1) A browsable database of hundreds of scientific abstracts and full-text articles; (2) An inventory of research activities on male circumcision; (3) Tools and guidelines for provider training and program scale-up; (4) Evidence-based protocols and guidelines; (5) A compendium of better and best practices; (6) User-friendly summaries of advocacy issues and civil society engagement; (7) An opportunity to sign up for an RSS feed on news related to male circumcision; and (8) A global mechanism for exchanging and integrating information on male circumcision programs and associated services.
Link Making the E-Health Connection
Website about the Making the E-Health Connection conference sponsored by the Rockefeller foundation. The goal of the conference was to to raise the profile of eHealth, form new partnerships and identify promising new areas of work for the Global South. For stakeholders from the Global South, the conference is designed to provide answers to key eHealth issues and encourage investment commitments and build consensus about how to use eHealth to improving the access, efficiency and quality of health services, particularly in low-resource settings.
