IHTSDO Launches Global Health Terminology Workbench

On January 22, the International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation (IHTSDO) launched a new, shared, web-based Workbench to help develop, maintain, and facilitate the use of SNOMED Clinical Terms™ (SNOMED CT) in health systems around the world. The SNOMED CT workbench is part of IHTSDO’s on-going efforts to enable broader access to, and use of, standardized clinical terminologies worldwide.  The intention is to build on the current model over time, encouraging partners to build and share complementary tools, eventually creating a multi-lingual modular workbench.
